This page covers the hosted Vekrel service: the relay at relay.vekrel.com and the web app at rc.vekrel.com. The Vekrel software you run on your own machines is yours to operate; what it does with your data is up to you and the agent providers you connect it to.
What we store
- Your account: email address, and the GitHub or Google account ID you signed in with.
- Sign-in records: short-lived sign-in codes and links, and session tokens (stored as hashes).
- Your linked machines: name, public key and the address your devices use to reach them.
- If you use the mobile app: device type, OS version, notification settings and push tokens.
What we don't store
Your code, prompts, files and agent output. Traffic between your devices and your machines goes through a Cloudflare Tunnel straight to your machine; the relay doesn't receive it.
Who processes it
- Railway hosts the relay and its database.
- Cloudflare serves the web app and runs the tunnels to your machines.
- Resend sends sign-in emails.
- GitHub and Google, if you sign in with them.
- Apple and Google push services, if you turn on mobile notifications.
We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. Short-lived sign-in data expires automatically.
Deleting your data
Email info@vekrel.com from your account's address and we'll delete your account and everything linked to it.
